"The Last Round" by César Chiquito will be presented in Ambulante festival as part of Coordenadas Veracruz programme. Film screening will be followed by a Q&A session with participating directors.
Synopsis
During the 60s, in the town of Tlacotalpan, Veracruz; there was an amateur boxing group that marked an entire generation and which lacks of historical records as a result of the 1969 and 2010 floods. Now, the grandson of “The Wolf of the Ring”, one of the most renowned boxers at the time, aims to recreate the collective memory of a forgotten generation.
